We are back this week with more gorgeous details from Becca and Colby's wedding day here at the Pearl!
Last week, we didn't want to overwhelm our readers with too much pretty in one sitting, so part one featured the sweet moments leading up to Becca and Colby's wedding ceremony, including Becca and her girls getting ready in the Bridal Suite here at the Pearl.
But this week, we've got part two coming at you with all the good stuff. From bride and groom portraits to ceremony moments and a sparkler sendoff, we're featuring all of the yummy details from this breathtaking wedding. We've always boasted about the versatility our Pearl brings to the table, but Becca and Colby's wedding is a true testament to its uniqueness. Photo opportunities, location, reception and ceremony options, to name a few, are great examples of the diversity offered at the Pearl.
In the following photo sequence, shot by the ever-talented Blue Elephant Photography, you'll see a few of the opportunities Becca and Colby took advantage of on their special day. And we hope you love the series as much as we do!
The stunning photos above were shot in the Silver Room here at the Pearl. Named after the color adorning its walls, the Silver Room has become a common spot for wedding receptions. Its open floor plan and barrel-lined shelves provide a beautiful backdrop and plenty of space for a DJ and those groovy dance floor moves. It also makes for great wedding portraits, in case you can't tell.
These silhouette portraits were taken in our Chandelier Room, which has traditionally been utilized for wedding ceremonies. It's the first room you enter when arriving at the Pearl, and its south-facing windows provide a beautiful, natural light for intimate photos such as these. You know what they say... location, location, location. And while that's certainly true when purchasing property, we also believe it to be true when choosing a wedding venue.
There are so many wonderful, outdoor photo locations surrounding the Pearl District Building, and, BONUS... most of them are within walking distance. Our industrial old gal sits right off of Third and Peoria; we're a stone's throw from downtown Tulsa and a two-minute drive to the historical Centennial Park at Sixth and Peoria. A five-minute walk west of our front door takes you to the quaint and charming East Village, home of the lovely Hodges Bend and popular pie joint Bohemian Pizza. The photo opportunities surrounding our Pearl are endless AND convenient. Is there anything prettier than a sparkler send off? We think not.
Congratulations, Becca and Colby! We are so grateful you chose to share this extraordinary day with us. Almost one year down and forever to go.And again, a special thank you to Blue Elephant Photography for these stunning memories of such a special day at our lovely Pearl
