Ashlyn + Rodger
11.17.18
Happy Anniversary to our lovely couple, Ashlyn and Rodger! They tied the knot with a stunning fall ceremony at our lovely Pearl (exactly one year ago today!) Ashlyn and Rodger met in 2012 at The Hunt Club in downtown Tulsa, but they didn't actually go on their first date until May of 2017. They were engaged in April of 2018, and we couldn't couldn't be happier they chose the Pearl to commemorate their vows in November 2018.
From the soft pink and white florals done by Toni's Flower Shop to the sophisticated and delicate cake created by Ms. Laura, the vision for this wedding came together flawlessly. Ashlyn's love of pink was the inspiration behind the elegant and glamorous style, and we are in love with every detail. Thank you for choosing us, Ashlyn and Rodger! You two were a joy to work with, and we hope you enjoy these stunning photos by Juliana Rose as much as we do.

"The vision I had for our wedding was something that was rustic but also elegant and glamorous. I looked at every venue in Tulsa, and whenever I saw the Pearl, I knew it was the one. It was everything I wanted." - Ashlyn
"Toni provided us with beautiful flowers, which consisted of soft pinks, white and greenery. She used garland down the farm tables and loose flowers, which were perfectly complimented by candles. I loved everything about it." - Ashlyn
"My original vision was brick walls and chandeliers! The Pearl was absolutely perfect. One of my favorite things at the Pearl are the farm tables." - Ashlyn
"Just Catering by Orr is the most incredible caterer. Josie went above and beyond to provide us with the wedding of our dreams. We served chicken picatta, brisket with a raspberry chipotle sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, stacked vegetables layered with pesto and goat cheese and a strawberry salad. It was amazing. For drinks, we served beer, wine and champagne. " - Ashlyn
"My absolute favorite part of our wedding day was our first dance as husband and wife. We went straight into the dance after our grand entrance. My sweet husband went to dance lessons with me, where we learned four dance moves we could perform at any time we wanted. His face was so serious because he was trying so hard to remember all four moves for when I would call one out that I just laughed throughout our entire dance. I look back at our wedding video and truly don’t think I have ever looked so happy in my life!" - Ashlyn
Before we go, we'd like to give a shoutout to all of the wonderful vendors (see tagged below) who helped bring Ashlyn and Rodger's wedding vision to life. It's an honor to work with such talented professionals in our industry, and we couldn't do without you!
Are you planning a fall or winter wedding? Do you have any advice to share with brides or future brides who are planning one? What would you do differently? The same?
