Why a food truck?

  • Food trucks make for a unique wedding dining option that is fun and trendy while still giving that personal touch of the couple being celebrated.

  • Tulsa has an ever growing array of incredible local food trucks. Couples can offer their guests delicious food at their wedding in a nontraditional and memorable way.

  • Our Pearl has a garage door alley entrance, the perfect spot for a food truck, dessert truck, coffee truck or even mobile bar access.

  • Whether you’re having an intimate gathering or having a larger guest count, food trucks can accommodate your celebration.

  • No buffet means fewer lines for guests to maneuver around as they mingle and enjoy the celebration.

  • Seasonally friendly, whether it’s a perfectly warm sunny evening or pouring rain, food trucks at the Pearl have options! They can either pull right up to our garage entrance and guests will never have to step outside, or we can create a fun outdoor experience full of mingling, fresh air and delicious food.

  • Wanting a food truck but not as your main dinner option? Late night food truck snacks are always a fun element to add to your night!

If you decide to hire a food truck here are a few tips!

  1. Ask for referrals, while this trend is unique, there are still a niche of individuals who have hired food trucks and had either wonderful or not so great experiences. Ask your wedding planner or venue for help with recommendations and advice. They’re likely to have connections or behind the scenes tips and experience the average person does not.

2. Ask your food truck vendor questions! For example, have they worked a wedding before?

Weddings are different from a food truck park or fair and there is a certain standard of service and timeliness that is expected by guests.

3. Choose something you like, something personal to you two. This is such a fun and memorable personal touch at a wedding. Choose something you both love and keep the menu somewhat limited to cut down on service time and lines.

4. Signage is a must! Signs are another cute personal touch at any wedding or celebration, but they’re also extremely functional and will prepare your guests to order while they mingle in line.

5. Break up the dining experience with a small buffet table for accoutrements, side dishes, salads, and hors d’oeuvres.

6. Choose standing friendly food. While some guests will take their plate to their seat, others will want to mingle while dining around a bistro table.
